Mountain Hardwear Carson Button-Down Short-Sleeve Shirt - Men's - 2007 BCS

Shirt was nice design and color, but started showing weird stains a few months into use. No other clothing I had showed the same markings, and I wash everything together so it was something with this shirt.

You know when a girl has a shirt that's just a little too short and shows a little skin, and she pulls it down from time to time cause she's self concious about it? Yeah... cute for girls, stupid for men, and is exactly what happens with this shirt. The side vents are functional and vent really well, but look a little silly when open - good to cool down on the trail, not so much at a club/bar.

I've scored 3 kisses on the cheek, a dozen random high-fives, and been taught 1 secret handshake whilst wearing the sunkiss colored version of this shirt - it pulls, so I continue to pull it on. The side venting hips/zips are great for venting energy and heat on the dance floor - maximizing comfort and style in spite of my dancing ability. So be wary of this shirts' weight bearing design - get one of these on your back, and you'll have the dudes and dudettes hanging all-over your shoulders.

This shirt does what it promises to do very well. The vents in the armpits are extremely helpful in keeping you cool, and the material is quite durable. The collar is slightly annoying, but I understand what they were thinking in being able to block the sun. I like having it on the trails, but don't wear it around much anywhere else.

Much better ventilation than wearing a syn. T-Shirt. It's great to have pockets and lots of venting options. I wish the sleeves were an inch longer, but that is a very minor quibble. I was afraid that I would notice the mesh behind the side zips, but is soft and I don't feel the bulk of them.

I would say it's a loud shirt, polyester feeling, that makes those annoying zirp-zirp-zirp sounds when you move. And I obviously didn't read the description because it indeed has full length zippers down both sides of the shirt and a collar that flips up 2 and 1/2 times to cover my entire neck. If I wanted any of those features I might be happy but I did not like this shirt. Also, the Chipolte color is slightly orange looking.
