The shirt came quickly and is very cute and stylish-plus breathes, is nice and cool, and UV protected-what more can I ask for. Love this shirt-I'll be buying more of different colors in the future.

i found this shirt to be quite comfortable. the fit is really nice and the sleeves ae the perfect length. my only complaint is that i think it should be longer. when i buy a shirt for the canyons, i'm going to be sliding down boulders, getting sand everywhere, and hiding my skin from mosquitos. so naturally, this is the type of shirt i'd like to tuck in to keep the unwanted out, but there's no way i can do that as MH seems to have sacrificed some functionality for style. i'm thinking of sewing a 6 inch strip of fabric onto the bottom myself to remedy this issue. i see what others have said about the buttons--they are really small and the button holes are tight, but i guess that's okay because it means they won't be popping out on their own. all in all though, i'm glad i bought the shirt and would recommend it to others. for size reference, i'm 5'2" and 125 lbs and the size 6 fits really well.

I agree that this is a cuter shirt than most due to its cut. It is shorter than most, and shorter in the arms. I am a petite and found that the arms were perfect for me. Usually they are too long. I got a blue one and its a bright turquoise, nice looking.
The big deal breaker on this shirt will be the buttons. The top buttons are tiny and take real effort to button and un-botton. I guess they thought that they were cute. But they aren't THAT cute and you practically have to be a squirrel to get them undone. The one saving grace is that you can leave them unbuttoned and pull the shirt over your head.
I like the vents on the side, hardly noticeable but very breath-able.
Good choice for women's travel/hiking top

Pros: For a travel shirt, it has a pretty flattering fit, and good style. Very comfortable and lightweight. True to size fit.
Cons: The buttons are pretty tedious--there are about 3 sizes from the collar to the bottom, getting bigger as they go down. The ones at the top are pretty tiny and difficult to use.
I didn't personally like the "Greenery" color (not good for my olive complexion) so I am returning it to try "Casper".
Mtn Hardwear Cuter than most brands

Tiny but cute fit. 5'5 1/2", 112 lbs, 32 in bust. Cut short -- very slightly below navel. Almost a petite cut and I'm not "petite". Ordered size 2. Still deciding. Might order up a size on this one. Stretch mesh panels under arms. Large mesh zip pocket on left boob -- not sure what it would look like with stuff in it -- LOL. Not sure what the "Napolean" pocket in the description refers to but mine ("air" color) does not seem to have a pocket on the back. Good shoulder freedom in such a trim shirt. Have a feeling this would be nice and smooth under pack -- I've never worn this sort of button down with a pack, usually wearing light weight wool knits in summer.
FYI, finding a lot of the Mountain Hardwear girl stuff is running a bit smaller, trimmer, lower waist, etc. lately -- CUTER -- than most brands. Welcome change :)

Sized differently than old Canyon

Have several of the old Canyon models and love them. Ordered this one and it's sized much bigger. I'm 5'10", 150 lbs, and I swim in this 12, though that's what I took in the old version. It seems particularly long in the arms. Also, the Tech Specs pocket descriptions are not accurate - there is no longer one zip and one mesh napoleon. Now there is just a zip napoleon and an itty bitty pocket on the top on the other side which would fit lip balm, driver's license. The mesh panels now go all the way down the sleeve, but NOT all the way down the side, and no mesh flap in back like the old. Instead it has mesh underarms and a bit around the back of the sleeve. Seems to show less bra, but don't know how the cooling properties will compare with old. Many more buttons and they seem kind of "fiddley" and the whole shirt seems much more trimly cut, maybe stylish. The old was a bit boxier and I often wore it jacket-like, which I don't think this will be as good for. The material still seems nice and light. The stone green is very dark, kind of Army/olivey.
