Nice fabric, poor fit

I agree with the previous reviewer- Mountain Hardwear tops have always been made for short women. If you're not 5'5" or shorter, forget about it! I'm 5' 7", and normally a XS or S in tops, and the S in this top was a bit too short in length. But my main reason for returning it: I have skinny, spaghetti arms, and the armpit area of this shirt was so tight! No movement possible without pinching. Bizarre. What's up, Mountain Hardwear?

It is very difficult to find shirts like this that fit and are not matronly. I hate this type of shirt but mosquitos bite through knits. So for mosquito territory, have to cave in. I am five five and 110 lbs and the shirt is big all over in XS EXCEPT in the shoulder/armpit region. Also, short. I have tried every brand and they are all fugly and most have terrible fit an features that make them not friendly for backpacking. I recently found one by ex officio that is actually cute. Most of their stuff is also pretty frumpy.

You pretty much need to choose about 15 and have a big try on session. It is hit or miss with these fugly duds. Ex Officio has a few with some spandex that helps with the fit through the back an shoulders. I have tried about every brand in XS. At 5'5" and 110 lbs, they are pretty much all too short.

    Not great for tall people

I'm 5'10 and 130# and bought a small - this shirt was literally a three quarter sleeve on me. I'm used to long sleeved women's shirts being an inch or 2 above where I'd like them, but the sleeves on this shirt are so short I'd imagine that anyone over 5'5'' would be wishing they were longer. As I bought it for sun protection, its going back.
