Great baselayer

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

This is a great baselayer, and also works well on its own. The material lives up to its name---it is truly "like butter." The fabric is very soft and stretchy, moves with your body very well. I'm 5'11" and 195 lbs, and the large fits well. The sleeves are a little long and the overall length is a little longer than I normally like it, but these are minor gripes, since I usually push up the sleeves anyway. I didn't dare size down, though, since it might make it too tight around the chest and shoulders, so keep that in mind if you're looking to get this shirt.

Overall, a great purchase. Mountain Hardwear has yet to let me down.

I am an XXL. It fit fine except for the sleeves which were just too long so I had to return. It was nice though.

The All Around Baselayer

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I used this layer from climbing, to backpacking, to running, to rafting, to canyoneering, to whatever! This layer is very thin, yet quite warm, especially if you're actively wearing it. It dries super quick and kept me warm even when it got wet. I typically wear it without a shirt underneath, unzipping the zipper and rolling up the sleeves if it gets too hot. If you're looking for an all-around, packable layer, you butter get this one!

Most Descriptive Product Name Ever

This shirt is one of the softest/smoothest fabrics I have ever encountered. It's softer than any of the cotton t-shirts I have and at the same time, has a bit of stretch, so it doesn't deform while wearing like cotton does. It's also pretty warm considering how thin it is, and dries quickly.

The fit is perfect for me. I have trouble finding shirts that are long enough while not being too large otherwise. This shirt has a great length. I'm 6'0" 170 pounds, and the medium is a nice length, but also fits relatively close to my body, without being form fitting like a compression top.
