Exactly that, butta! The fabric is super soft and actually very warm. I like how high the neck is and it's great for putting up the hood. It's great on it's own or with a baselayer under it. I may buy it in several different colors to wear it all the time! I also might buy it with the zip or crew too!

Fits good...but... the collar right by the neck has this hoop looking thing, not so cool. Other than that the size is true to fit from the chart. The style is just kinda weird with the whole hoop.

I really like this hoody. The fabric is a good weight (similar to a T-shirt weight), and incredibly soft and supple; it's well-named. When I first got the hoody, I wore it several days in a row, it felt so good. The only thing I don't like is the cut of the fabric around the throat. I think it looks a little wierd, and the seam where the hood attaches to the body is a little itchy. But overall, a really good hoody. Almost perfect.

This hoody is so soft. Once I put in on I never wanted to take it off. This hoody is extremely versatile. It kept me warm, and dry on the slopes, and I am sure it will do the same this spring, and Summer on a good long hike. It is also extremely light, and compressible. I love it...need to buy more.

I love my new Mountain Hardwear Butter Hoody. The fabric is soft and comfortable. It's not so think that I get hot and sweaty indoors, and outdoors, it keeps me warm. It washed up perfectly. I'm lucky I can wear it to work, and will!

I love this shirt. It’s appropriately named BUTTER - b/c it is so soft - I want to wear it to bed.

This is an incredible product. It is extremely soft and breathes. It has a high neck that keeps out drafts but doesn't restrict like a turtleneck. The real difference between this and similar hoodies from other outdoor outfitters is the loose fit around the middle. What a nice change from the usual sausage casing outdoor wear. I actually sleep in mine sometimes. Highly recommended.
