Wear the Mountain Hardwear Men's Belay T-Shirt Stay and stay unchafed and comfortable while your partner pulls himself up that 511b. This stretchy tech tee wicks moisture, dries quickly, and feels super soft. Mountain Hardwear rotated the flat-lock seams away from pressure points, so you feel ready to climb when your friend sends the route.

Bottom Line: Whether you're pulling rock or spotting your friend, the Mountain Hardwear Belay T-Shirt keeps you comfortable.

The best thing you could spend yer hard earned cash on!! I have used it for a baselayer on several long trips, kept me warm and it never got that horrible smell. The thumb holes are also nice.

I like these shirts alot. The material is difficult to describe.. VERY stretchy, but a little heavier than a poly running shirt (tighter knit). I have noticed that alot of reviews for this shirt give it props for being a great base layer, which it is, but know that it is not cut to be a next-to-skin base. It is cut athletic, but will drape nice and give room for an undershirt if you choose. If you want it to serve as a lightweight base, go one size down. Does not slide well with fleece. Not really a casual shirt (in my opinion), as the exterior techie stiching and thumb holes make it look, well.. techie.

Buyer recomended

I own a couple of this shirt. I absolutely LOVE them and i know im going to be buying more in the near future. they are a great base layer or just t-shirt for every day stuff. the material is really breathable, but will keep you warm when you want it to. My only complaint is that the thumb holes will wear at your skin if you use them for a long period of time.

Also buyer beware on the NAVY. the stiching is a light blue not orange as pictured. the shirt still looks good

Use it in the summer for base layer under spray jacket for whitewater kayaking and in the winter for a baselayer on warmer bc ski days. Great piece of gear.

Awesome Layer

By:

Live in a climate that can go from 30's during the morning to 75 and humid during the day. This a is a great all around layer that helps keep me warm in the mornings and allows for my body to breath in the afternoon warmer weather. Nice a stretchy with little bulk.

A great shirt for anything

This is a nice shirt- it's very light and extremely comfortable. It doesn't offer a great amount of warmth but works well as a base layer underneath a fleece shirt. I love the stretch fabric too.

Does what it says

I have been a mtn hardwear follower for years now and ALL yes ALL of their products are top notch. This shirt is no exception. Whether you are at the top of an exposed ridge or belaying at the crags this shirt does it all in style...heck I often wear it out to dinner with my girl friend. Pick one or two up! They are indispensible for back country pursuits as the shirt dries very quickly and is light.

Comfortable, wicking material

This is a great material for active sports. It stretches nicely, and is quite soft and comfortable on your skin. Used it as a baselayer on a recent backpacking trip and it functioned great. Thumbholes are a plus for adding other layers on top, although the material fits snugly at the wrists. Also, wicks moisture well when sweating. I would buy again in heartbeat. I'm planning on using it as a baselayer for snowboarding too this winter.
