On piste or off, the Mountain Hardwear Men's Atka Pant will take care of you on super-cold days with Thermic Micro synthetic insulation. plenty of ski pants are waterproof and breathable like the Atka, but few give you the protection against cold that Thermic Micro insulation provides.

  • Micro-Chamois-lined adjustable waist for chafe-free customizable fit
  • Fleece-lined handwarmer pockets for quick relief from the bitter cold
  • Ambush edge guards protect from ski edges and crampons

Bottom Line: Lock out the cold.

Atka pants ok

I wear a large in most brands and these are large and fit well, but they are for a longer legged person. My wife has TNF freedom pant and the shell on those feels a little more durable than the Atka pants. The thigh vents work well. The lower leg pocket works fine for me, but it is not for storing bulky items. I only have about 30 hrs in them in back country but standing up well so far. with a good base layer and these pants I was warm down to -33 c. They feel a little short waisted, so if you like your pants to fit a little higher up your waist line these are not going to work.

ska. YES. These are seam taped and waterproof pants. We use our proprietary Thermic Micro insulation coupled with our Conduit laminate to create a great waterproof, insulated, and breathable pant. I hope this info helps!

Terrible Design

I am 5'8" 180. I purchased a medium which barely fit in the waist, but was well over 6" too long. I compared them to my previous bonfire pants and they were 9" longer. When I put them on and let the hem hit the floor, the waist came half way up my chest. The pocket behind the right knee is completely insane. You can barely reach there, and who wants crap hitting the back of their knee as they bend. I am so disappointed by this product I am returning it and will not be exchanging for any other MH pant.
