Thanks to Gore-Tex Pro fabric, skinny seam taping, and ultralight zippers, the Mountain Hardwear Men's Argon Jacket protects you from the elements and weighs only 17oz. A trim fit keeps flapping material to a minimum, and high hand pockets allow access even when you wear a climbing harness. Mountain Hardwear used a Micro-Grid channeled nylon to line the Argon Jacket and increase moisture wicking, so you stay drier as you break trail or take on another pitch of ice.

same problem here with the zipper... totally gets stuck a few inches below the chin and is really hard to zip to top. returning because of zipper.

on my Argon the zipper works just fine. But maybe there are a couple of unlucky ones out there. The fact that it's a sealed zipper makes it slower to zip up and down at first though, but it's not a bad thing, and it means your zipper is also waterproof!

Returned. Nice-looking jacket, great pockets, great weight. Material looks a little flimsy, but from what I have read, it is sturdy. Returned b/c of front watertight zipper. Those are a pain!!! Up at the chin it constantly would get stuck and would take some adjusting to get it up the rest of the way; sometimes I couldn't. Not a fan of those zippers; they look nice but that is about it.
