I ordered 6 jackets from BackCountry and this Mountain Hardwear in red is what I chose. It is light, has a nice hand to the fabric, many useful pockets and a great fit and length. I am 5 ft. 9" and 150 lbs.and this jacket is a great fit for me. I'm not sure how to stash the hood though. I love the Mountain Hardwear logo!

I think this might be the jacket my sis got and which I admire; does it have a bit of flower design on the sleeve? I'm 5'8" and 150 lbs; what size did you get? I read in another review that it has fleece on the inside? Is that the case?

This jacket is awesome! I haven't field tested it yet, but it's seems to have quite a bit of promise. Large pockets high enough to reach into while wearing a backpack. Large, easy to adjust hood. The fit is trim, but roomy enough for layers. I can't wait to get it out on the trail.

Nice Parka, the usual Mountain Hardware quality. Size correct in Body, Arm length etc but with a fleece on the arm pits were very tight inhibiting upper arm and lat movement.
Change me.
