These things are great for warming up hands, like a belay jacket for your fingers. After climbing a pitch of ice they induce screaming barfies almost immediately. They also make everyone else jealous.

I got some MH Nilas mitts last year & loved most things about them. (which I later replaced with a pair of these) On our annual family trip to Whistler for trash talk & skiing/boarding my kids hands were painfully cold... Flipping freak out near tears, sopping wet freezing glove that had been DWR treated and were supposed to be waterproof already. The best REI had to offer. How the heck can I enjoy the trip when my kids are so miserable!? On our trip pre-check shopping this year I had a very clear memory of this. I did a quick search & found that these are even better & where on sale. My wife was like,
