The ski jacket to rule all ski jackets.

The Mountain Force Men's Rider Jacket has a harmonious blend of prominent styling, the utmost protection, and an unbeatable ski performance. Its CM ceramic membrane combines heat-reflective warmth with some of the best waterproof breathable ratings available; pair that with the jacket's superlight insulation, and you'll be able to ski in this jacket comfortably from fall to spring.

What separates the Rider Jacket from most ski jackets is the shell's incredible stretch. Most waterproof breathable membranes prevent jackets from having any significant amount of stretch, but Mountain Force somehow gave the shell and incredible four-way stretch despite its ridiculously high waterproof breathable protection. Mountain Force also added a stretchy Schoeller lining for enhanced breathability, moisture management, and overall comfort.

Since the Rider has such a stretchy shell, Mountain Force tailored the jacket in a slimmer design that won't inhibit your mobility. In spite of its sleek fit, the Rider still leaves room for layering in winter's most freezing weather. The jacket also features multiple zippers at the sleeves and chest for air-circulated ventilation. The powder skirt adjusts, removes, and connects to Mountain Force's ski pants for complete coverage. There are multiple adjustments at the hood, and you can remove it or snap it back. The zippered cuffs enhance the jacket's overall tailored design, and there are internal gaiters with thumbholes. Mountain Force added a surprising amount of pockets for ski passes, valuables, goggles, and electronics.

Pass pocket and sleeve enlarging zipper

The pass pocket with laser cut edges is beautifully hidden where the sleeve enlarging zipper is. The fact that you can enlarge the sleeve to fit your glove in and then zip it down is another perfectly executed part to a beautiful jacket.

Mountain force gear is a true masterpiece. I was a rep at Gore before moving to Backcountry. I have seen a lot of gear in my life and this line is the most over engineered line of outerwear I have ever seen. It's designed like a fine swiss watch. For the record I haven't skied in these. I only went to our warehouse because I was intrigued to try on the product and dive into the details of the brand.

This jacket is the most comfortable ski jacket I have ever worn. As soon as I put it on I could feel how nice it is. It has a unique feel because all fabrics on this jacket have stretch. The stretch is great for not only movement but comfort level.

Mountain Force uses a thin and stretchable ceramic membrane to achieve waterproofness and breathability. All aspects of the fabric are produced in Japan. Mountain force checks 100% of the fabric they use. Anything that doesn't pass the test goes back to Japan. The consistency is instantly noticeable when you touch and look at the fabric.

One of the most unique aspects of the jacket is a Schoeller®-PCM™ material. The PCM (Phase Change Material) is the most innovative material in outerwear today. The PCM material acts like a thermostat for your body temperature. When you get too hot it stores your body heat. When your temp starts to drop it releases the stored heat to make you feel warm.

Additionally, snaps to attach your powder skirt, headphone guides and well placed pass pockets add on to make this jacket a work of art and the most comfortable jacket I have ever put on.

Please call or email me with any questions you have about Mountain Force.
