Xero 300 23 Sleeping Bag: 23F Down

Made with weight being a primary concern in the design process, the Mountain Equipment Xero 300 Sleeping Bag is built for demanding alpine climbs and thru-hikes where minimal weight is key. The Xero line represents Mountain Equipment's lightest sleeping bags, and the Xero 300, with a trail weight of just 1lb 7oz, fits the niche for colder endeavors with a EN comfort rating of 39-degrees.

Implementing all the superior design features that you'd expect of a Mountain Equipment sleeping bag, the Xero 300 has an alpine fit that is snug enough for excellent thermal efficiency but has some extra room in the shoulders for increased comfort. EXL technology, which in short is a stretch stitching, makes the bag more thermally efficient with less added weight. The hood is made with seven baffles to limit down migration, while the Solus draft collar limits heat from escaping from the top of the bag. Ground level seams maximize insulation along the sides, and slanted box wall baffle construction only increases the stability of the down. The lightweight Helium 30 fabric is extremely lightweight and treated with a DWR coating to resist moisture. This fabric combined with the high-quality 850-fill goose down makes the bag exceptionally light and highly compressible. The bag comes with a roll-top, waterproof, compression sack along with a mesh storage bag.
