What went wrong on the assembly line?

This is what I imagine wearing a corset feels like. I’m 5’8” 175 pounds athletic build and I love love love Mountain Equipment. A size medium fit perfectly EXCEPT I could barely breath with the bib zipped closed around my torso over a thin base layer. Can’t imagine how this got designed this way but for any super emaciated person looking for a well made hardshell in size medium, you’re in luck cuz I’ll be sending this one back.
