When you need to squeeze your trail run in before work, when it's still dark and there's frost on the ground, turn to the Mountain Equipment Men's Integrity Zip-Neck Hooded Jacket. Crafted from a stretch Delta fabric, this jacket wicks moisture, resists abrasion, and provides low bulk to meet all the demands of the trail, while keeping you comfortably warm. One of the more Versatile Pieces I have
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
I've had this for about two months and wanted to get a decent amount of use on it before posting a thorough review. I've been extremely happy with the performance and comfort. Definitely one of the better mid layer pieces I have as it's technical enough for use outdoors but casual enough to wear to the office. It lives up to the standards Mountain Equipment apparel has been known for.
The fit on the Mountain Equipment apparel is spot on with the size chart. I'm a 42.5-43" chest and a 33" waist and Mountain Equipment apparel in size Large fits me great. The chest isn't tight and it isn't lose, the fit is pretty spot on. The waist isn't huge. If you like the fit of Arc'teryx garments then you'd like the fit of Mountain Equipment even better.
I've got long arms and prefer long sleeves which is hard to come by but the sleeve length on the size Large is perfect. They're long enough when you're reaching over head that your wrists don't get exposed.
Features - Zippered Chest Pocket:
Perfect for odd little goodies like chap stick, etc.
Features - Quarter Zip:
I've been a bit fan of the quarter zip lately. Really liking that I can unzip it to vent some heat off my core.
The delta stretch fabric is mega comfy while still being technical.
Mountain Equipment Quality:
I own gloves, hardshell jackets, hats, mid layers, and shorts from Mountain Equipment and I've been nothing but thrilled with their products. The attention to detail in their design/manufacturing is pretty dang awesome. They make the best apparel in my opinion for climbers and mountaineering. Basically when I need new apparel, ever since discovering Mountain Equipment, they've been the ones I turn to. No need to bother with any of the other brands that are over priced .
