MontBell built the U.L. Spiral Hugger #0 Sleeping Bag with spiraling, elastic stitching to hold the insulation close to your body and allow for a little wiggle room while you sleep. High-quality 800-fill goose down gives you a high warmth-to-weight ratio for chilly winter outings. MontBell also gave it an ultralight 12D Airlight nylon shell with a DWR coating to shed moisture and condensation.

Bottom Line: Ultralight comfort with a twist.

I just bought my wife the MontBell Burrow #0 synthetic, regular length, right side zipper. If I bought myself the MontBell Spiral Down #0, long length, left side zipper, does anyone know if I can zip them together? Are the zippers compatible on those two?

I bought this bag for a mountaineering trip to Bolivia. The bag worked well although the temperatures never dipped below 20 degrees. I really want to test this bag in a more serious environment Laterally the bag is huge. While it is nice to have some room to move around, this bag could be made lighter and smaller by eliminating some fabric and down.My 2 cents.

Were you HOT in this bag given that the Bag's rating was >20*F over what you camped in? From previous ratings on the Hugger #1, it seems that it falls short of its 15* Rating...and that's the reason I'm looking into a #0. Also, I think the extra room in these bags, is a selling point, not a flaw. The holes are a different issue.
