Exceloft synthetic insulation and unique stretch construction make the MontBell Super Stretch Burrow #1 15 Degree Sleeping Bag ideal for long backpacking or climbing trips in wet and cold conditions. Tend to change position frequently at night? This synthetic sleeping bag's stretch seams accommodate changes in position and provide a thermally efficient, body-hugging fit. MontBell included a neck baffle and draft tube in this three-season sleeping bag to seal in precious body heat. Shorter users can close the last baffle, further reducing the amount of empty space to heat.

Bottom Line: The Montbell Super Stretch #1 is ready and waiting for your next backpacking trip.

Great bag

This bag has kept me toasty below 30 degrees I still need to try it out in colder weather. I recomend it to anyone. It is a little on the bulky side, however for the price it was well worth the additional space and weight for it's performance.

Toasty

I have the 0 degree version of this bag. I spent a week in southern Utah canyoneering and backpacking-- this bag kept me super warm, when others were cold. My buddy was in the MH Lamina -15 below bag, and he seemed to be cold. I am 5' 10'' 165 and bought the regular- next time i will buy the long- a regular was tight- but still super comfy.

Bottom Line:
Its warm, feels great to the skin and has a nifty zipper that eliminates snags. The hugger feature is nice, stuffing this bad can be slippery, but it compresses down well with straps-- the extra weight is worth the warmth and comfort.

Does this bag have a zipper at the bottom? (I get a little claustrophobic and like to stick my feet out!)

It does not. I guess they didn't figure people camping in 15 degree weather would want to expose their feet.

Good buy

It's a little on the bulky side, but it's a synthetic cold weather bag (i.e., to be expected). The added bulk balances out when weighed against the added weight and discomfort of a soaked down bag of equal temp. ratings. Living in the Pacific Northwest, this is the way to go. Warm, comfy, and quality product.

Nice Bag

By:

Overall a really nice bag, but it doesn't compress very small and is a little heavy if you are doing a lot of miles. It get 5 stars from me because it is a 15 degree bag and I am always warm even when all of my friends, who are in 0 degree bags of other brands are all freezing their butts off. If it isn't too cold I like to sleep with my chest exposed and the tight fit of the bag keeps all of the warmth in. I highly recommend this bag to anyone who wants some extra "back-country comfort" that reminds you of home.
