Montane Firefox Jacket - Women's

I LOVE this jacket. I got size 12 in vivid green. Its like a limey yellow, not green. It stands out in a crowd. I'm 5'8" and these sleeves are perfect length. The mid section goes straight down, not baggy but not fitted. Fine by me. Its surprisingly warm and wind resistant for being so light and stuffable. It holds wrinkles for a little while if you stuff it in a bag. Love it!

Very pleased! Great color, warm yet light,not bulky,packs in a med-small sack. Beautifully made, good zipper w/nice chin guard. I'm 5'7 w/long arms. A Lg (US12)was perfect over the shoulders & in the sleeve. I only wish it were a bit more fitted through the torso. It leaves your middle looking like you could lose a few pounds.

ok, i love this jacket, although ive only worn it twice. i ordered the medium and the large just to be sure, and the medium is just a little too tight if you want to wear a couple of layers. the large is a bit big in the waist area, but i'd rather be comfortable. anyway, i wore this on a night hike last week, when it was in the teens w/ the windchill, and it help up great! i kept it on the whole time, and i wasnt cold until we were stopped moving. it looks great too (i have the purple), and i love how it's so light. i would definitely buy another montane product.

The color is great. It wears like a down sweater. It's more insulated than I expected. I had bought it for winter runs and it's fine if it's btw 0-20, but if it's warmer, then it's too hot. I use it for very cold runs and as a layer under a hard shell for skiing. It's very wind resistant and it packs down well, so was thinking it would be great for summer hikes above tree line. The zipper sticks a little bit at the bottom and is left handed, a bit awkward. A good buy at sale price, but probably not at full price.

This does run small. I usually wear an 8 or 10, but the 12 fits better in this jacket. It's lightweight, but keeps me warm.

This is a great jacket!! Lightweight, but very warm and very easy to move around in. Highly recommend -- especially at this price!! I took the advice of borders1013546 and ordered up one size. Glad I did, as it fits perfect! Love this jacket!!
