Nicely designed shirt that works well in shifting temperatures. Its still too warm in CA right now to really test this but I like.... Montane enjoys a good reputation in Europe and the price on these was great. I might give it 5 stars after I have tried it in the cold.

athletic/regular fit with a nice loose, but not too loose sleeve. breathes well and not too itchy
I was out golfing in 107 degree + 60% Humidity. I stayed Hydrated
I was out golfing in 107 degree + 60% Humidity. I stayed Hydrated by drinking water and gatoraid constantly through the round. I almost collapsed.Will this product help me enough to make it through the day?

I purchased this shirt about a month ago. It says machine wash only. I followed the directions to a tee and now I see a couple of threads coming loose. I hope this doesn't destroy the whole shirt

The Sportwool fabric which Montane use for their Bionic base layer is for me totally brilliant. It has a cool mix of Merino wool next to the skin which gives a soft feel and Polyester on the outside to ensure it dries quickly and unlike 100% merino does not saturate and stay wet. I have both long and short sleeve versions which I will use for all conditions and when cold both together. I can fully recommend this stuff you will love it!
