Moment Tahoe Ski - 2010 BCS

Tahoe Ski

After a few rounds on the mechanical bull and more than a few rounds on the Reno mainstreet, the crew at Moment juiced the Tahoe Ski with a little ski-it-all black magic. At 96mm underfoot, the Tahoe has just enough float to get you from November to March without having to swap rides constantly. A fiberglass-wrapped wood core puts the hurt on choppy chutes, middle-sized drops, and technical lines through the trees, because Moment knows that you love to make sure you're safe in the trees.

Bottom Line: A coast-to-coast slayer, home-cooked in Nevada

Hey,

You could get away with 90 depending on the binding, but I'd recommend 100 to be safe.

All around skis

I'll be on these any day this year except maybe that really big pow day. And being that I live in Tahoe I'll most likely be switching back to these in the afternoon when it's all tracked out! They are a great and responsive ski through most conditions. Fun on groomers and in the crud.

Are they fun in the moguls? I want an all mountain ski the can handle itself in the moguls.

HI im 6'5" tall and i'm 190lbs, i have never skied a moment ski before, i was wondering if the tahoe, set up with a Deadbolt 15, or 18 binding would be a good set up, for skiing almost everything, ex: park, urban, pow etc...

Hey, I am 5'10" 175lbs. I road 180 tahoes last season. I didnt ride deadbolts, i put Marker Jester Schizos on them an ran them at about 10-12din. Loved that setup. Used them all over the mt. Chop, park and groomers, with a little powder in between. They can get a little loose on flat groomers and ice, but when youve got something to grip on they turn great. I would def. suggest you go with the 188's as the effective edge on these isnt as big as i had initially expected. Hope that helps.

Solid, fun ski

I have only been on them a few days, but they are a lot of fun. They are quick and good in tight spaces. Handle speed really well. They seem to be fine with small 10-15ft drops and decent in light powder.

what size are you riding? I'm 5'7", 140 lbs - wonder if I should go w/ the 180 or the 188 for an all-around ski (live in the bay area, so take what I can get when I drive up).
