Your all-conditions ski.
Go a little further into powder country this season with the Moment Bella Ski. At home floating and slashing turns effortlessly through the deep snow, bombing through steep chutes, and navigating steep hardpack, the Bella features two more millimeters in the waist, a lighter build, and a slightly flatter Mustache Rocker profile from last season's Bella. Moment's signature Mustache Rocker provides hours of powder-floating bliss and groomer-biting delight while the Bella's 108mm waist and vertical sidewalls are not picky about when and where they descend; they're looking to party every day and in every condition.
Built with tough Extruded UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight) Polyethylene sidewall construction, the Bella is extremely durable, light, and resistant to separation which helps ensure seasons of quality use. To make the Bella an all-condition weapon, Moment engineers gave it a poppy, lightweight aspen and pine wood core that makes it as sweet and playful on a powder day as it is on crud and groomers. The use of pine also makes the Bella extremely durable with solid rebound properties and a long flex life so you're not skiing on a wet noodle by mid-season. To further enhance flex longevity, Moment incorporated carbon tow threads in the laminate matrix design.Edges can be a game-changer, especially when you blow one out or when they are hardly thick enough to withstand a season of tuning, so Moment equipped the Bella with 2.2mm Rockwell 48 steel edges. Shipped from Austria already hardened to 48 Rockwell, Moment performs additional heat-treating in-house to adjust the hardness and ductility of the steel to ensure you get the most life out of your ski. Oh, and we can't forget Moment's US-made Durasurf 4001 sintered base material that can take a beating while staying fast. Harder and with better wax absorption properties than extruded bases, sintered bases are the industry standard for performance and longevity.

I <3 these skis!
Lively in the air, poppy, and stable to land upon!
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share
Writing this on behalf of a friend who used these in Japan for about 15 days. She is 5'4ish and has the 162 and said it was the best ski she'd ever had. One would assume that her excited cheering all the way down the hill meant that she was having fun. I cant speak about the detailed performance aspects of the ski as I didnt ride them my self (little bit too big for them haha) but they certainly looked fun and kept up with my Night Trains! They look rad too and certainly turned heads.
Note: They werent a gift but I was asked to give some feedback for her.
Bella Backcountry Hike above Alta
That's the thing about Bella...
She loves fresh lines.
Powder Party with good BASS
One thing you may not realize about these skis...
They have really beautiful bases!
Party on the top.
Party on the bottom.
Party in the powder.
She's like that gal whom you see at all the best functions.
Lookin' good and ready to ruckus.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This is a truly awesome situation.
I used this ski as a daily driver for the bulk of last season. I can say that durability is EXCELLENT after torturing BELLA with seriously low snow conditions all spring at the Bird and Alta.
It's got a great shape and it's a very versatile ski. The thing I love most is that it is incredibly damp and stable, this is the ski you can take anywhere (well - except the terrain park, that could be bad). It's more stable and damp than any of the skis I've recently tried (VJJ, TSTw, Atomic Millennium & Elysian, Hellbent). It can charge through crud and settled pow like a rabid stallion. Wait a second make that...a nightMARE.
Pow surfing is good times. It handles ok on groomers, obviously a lot of ski to haul around, but fairly fun and responsive for how plump her waistline is. I would HIGHLY recommend this ski for ladies searching for that elusive quiver ski in Western locales.
I am 5'3" 120lbs and the 172 was a great size. This ski is noticeably heavier and beefier than any of my other skis, and it took a while to strengthen my legs in order to master these Bella Beasts. The swing weight is also noticeably heavier than any of the women's specific skis I listed above, but nothing I couldn't handle. Again, I think the tradeoff here was stability and dampness, the Bella crushes ALL in her path.
Overall, really stoked on this ski, it's my 2nd favorite (after VJJ)
Graphics are hot, hot hot. Nothing like finding your dream ski and actually LOVING the top sheet. That never happens...
