Bottom Line: A little punishment is a good thing every once and a while.

i can not tell you from personal experience, but as its labelled uses include all kinds of climbing and mountaineering i would say you shouldnt have a problem...i would trust millet to have designed this jacket with helmet use in mind, especially at that price.

I got this jacket a year ago and still curse the day I bought it. It's so useless and expensive. It combines all the negatives of the different materials.
1. the paclite won't do you any good if it starts raining cause you'll get wet at the arms after a couple of minutes, followed by your chest and back
2. it's not warm at all cause the paclite is really thin and at the neck it's not possible to tighten up without the hood on
3. you can't wear a heavy backpack cause it will kill the paclite
the only pro of this jacket is the good look but seriously, go either for a pure softshell or a good hardshell (Goretex Active, stay away from paclite!).
