The helmet-compatible mountaineering hood cinches down tight without obscuring your vision, and the drawcord hem and hook-and-loop cuffs seal out wind, spindrift, and icy drafts. Millet also gave the Trilogy two hand pockets and one zippered chest pocket to keep small items handy, so you don't need to dig through your pack.
