Description

Here's 14 ounces of superior, foul-weather protection.

Outfitted for backcountry skiing, alpine climbing, mountaineering, or rugged-weather backpacking, the Millet Men's Trilogy GTX Jacket fends off the gnarliest weather on storm days and sports a streamlined construction for luxurious comfort. Featuring the new Gore-Tex waterproof breathable membrane, 3L Active Shell, this jacket tackles four-seasons of travel into the mountains. Millet waterproofed all the zippers and added plenty of adjustability to this shell so you can dial in the fit and never have to worry about the leaking when you're on a peak at 14,000 feet.
  • Gore-Tex 3L Active Shell membrane offers waterproof-and-breathable protection from the elements without bulk, so you stay dry and won't feel stifled underneath
  • Underarm vents allow you to release excess heat from within and utilize waterproof zippers so moisture won't sneak in when zipped
  • Easy Hood has adjustable height and depth and fits over climbing or ski helmets
  • Flex Comfort seamless underarm construction eliminates hotspots at seams and offers greater range of motion at the arms
  • Gore-Tex Ceramic shoulder reinforcements increase durability at high-wear points
  • Semi-rigid hood visor retains it's shape so you won't have to constantly adjust it to block the wind, sun or precipitation when you're on the move

Millet uses some 13mm taping on their high-end jackets such as this one, as opposed to the standard 20mm taping. This has been shown in breathability testing to allow 10% more water vapor to pass through the membrane. So, when you are out hammering on a warmer day and sweating like I do- 10% makes a big difference, and you won't end up with a clammy jacket.

Gore stipulates that all Active Shell products must have 13mm seam tape. Nothing new there...

Great jacket, is warmer than I expected, probably because it cuts the wind out of equation. I wear an x-large american size, ordered X-Large in this size and came European XXL, which is perfect!

Just so that others aren't confused on ordering their size, it does fit true to size and they should order their American size.

The XXL size you see on the tag should also be accompanied by notation of the US size XL.

Millet owns some factories in Europe, and their higher end products, such as this jacket, are manufactured in Hungary.
