Your rope looks out for you, and it's time to return the favor. Stash it safely in the Millet Rope Bag and protect it from sunlight, dirt, and unnecessary wear and tear. The abrasion-resistant 420D Diamond ripstop fabric keeps your rope free from snags, and and a built-in tarp gives you a clean, dirt-free platform for stacking.

Works for me

I got this bag because I needed something to haul around my 70 m rope to and from the crag. It's certainly not the greatest quality item I've ever owned, but it works for what I need it to do. The material feels kind of cheap and the stitching is a bit messy. On the other hand, it fits my 70 m x 10.3mm rope in a butterfly coil, carries nicely on my shoulder, and has a really excellent, BIG tarp. The loops on the corners of the tarp are nice to tie into and quickly find the ends of the rope.

I'm a pretty casual climber, and I only use my rope once every couple of weeks. For me, this bag is perfect and at just the right price. If I were more serious and used my rope a bit more often, I'd want to look for something a sturdier.

In a marginally related sidenote, I feel like a tool carrying around a bag that says "rope bag" in sparkly letters on it, but I'm just going to sew a patch or something over the top of that. Problem solved.

This is the only rope bag I've ever used, but honestly I can't think of anything that this bag doesn't have, and the price is low. I use it for my 70m rope with no problem. The bag unzips to reveal the big tarp with two stripes for tying off the ends of the rope so they don't get lost in the stack and to keep things from tangled. Untie the ends, tie in to your harness and you're good to go. When you're done just fold up the tarp into the case and zip it up. The compression straps and zippers are heavy duty so you don't have to worry about busting anything open. The shoulder strap is comfortable without being overdone and bulky.

Rock time

This rope bag is great. Plenty of room to fit my single rope or two half ropes. Super strong materials make this rope bag last for a long time.
