Take the Millet Radikal 32 Backpack for technical mountaineering treks all year long. This high-tech mountaineering pack gives you the features you need to lug your gear without adding pounds to weigh you down. Made to accommodate expert climbers, the Radikal flexes with your movements and withstands tough conditions.

  • Free Flex Light suspension pulls the pack close to the back and distributes weight to the hip-belt instead of to your shoulders
  • Flexible back panel allows freedom of movement so the pack won’t restrict your climb
  • Strong, waterproof fabric protects your gear through wet and harsh weather
  • Extendable lid on main compartment houses over-flow packing
  • Helmet holder makes sure you won’t lose your head gear

Bottom Line: One rad pack.

Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

Great Pack

This is my first piece of Millet gear, but so far it's been perfect for extended day hikes or a light summer overnighter. I wasn't sure about the softer flex frame at first, but with a lighter load its more comfortable IMO because it flexes with your movements - great for ducking under branches and overhangs. I haven't been out in the rain with it yet, but I'm fairly certain it could handle a shower or two without any issues.

A slightly larger hip pocket would be nice, even with my compact camera its kind of tight, and an iterior padded sunglass pocket would be nice too, but if those are my only complaints then I'll be very happy.

That is an an extra gear loop. The hip belt also has a metal gear loop on one side and a zippered stash pocket on the other.
