From days the sport crags to sketchy alpine ice routes, the Millet Peuterey 35 Limited Backpack is your all-around rucksack for any vertical adventure. Top and front access lets you quickly grab your gear while on route, and the ski and ice axe attachments secure your winter tools. The ergonomic shoulder straps feature handrests for long, grueling approaches, and a waterproof top gusset keeps snow and rain from soaking your gear.

Bottom Line: A mid-sized pack for any day of climbing.

Solid Pack for ice climbing

By:
December 5, 2010

Just picked up this pack for ice climbing. It's well built and everything works well. It's comfortable and the access zipper is a great feature. The attachments for the ice tools work with leashless tools and the zipper/gear loop on the waistbelt are nice features. The only thing that's really missing is an external crampon pouch, which looks to be an addition for newer models. That being said, this drawback can be remedied by using a separate pouch that attaches using the ski compression straps on the side of the pack.

In the interest of full disclosure, I got this pack on sale. For the price I paid it was an easy decision, but I can only give it 4 stars because there's no good way to attach crampons.
