Millet Hybrids- My go-to Eldorado Shoe!

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These shoes are excellent for long, vertical routes that require techy edging. The toe is super precise and the rubber is stiff enough to excel at dime-edge smears. Also, the shoes are very comfortable thanks to the padding (which is not overdone), so you can be in them all day with little need to remove the shoes between pitches. I've used these shoes on 2000' eldo-mini traxion days, where I climb 20 pitches in a few hours on 5.11 and 5.12 terrain. Slabs, cracks, face-climbing- these shoes crushed! I also subjected them to some groveling offwidths in Vedauwoo, and they easily withstood the rubber-punishing heel-toeing inside the man-eating wide cracks. Millet's proprietary 4-points grip rubber is super sticky, and holds up well over time.
