It's a good backpack, but little small to carry on all the necesary equipment to go to a hard climbing session, very light and comfortable, good straps( shoulders, chest and hips)

good materials, hidratation compatible, rain cover, excelent for wet days, removable aluminium internal frame, adjustable loops on both sides execelent for carry big climbing hardwear or ropes

better for mountaineering than for climbing!

I travel with a similarly sized bag and it'll fit under the seat if its not totally overstuffed.
But its plenty small to get on the plane with.

Well Lynn, from what I've seen people get on the plane with, yes. I usually fly Delta/Northwest. I can get on with a lightly packed Osprey Atmos 65. The only thing is that if it will not fit under the seat they want it in the overhead bin. Good luck!
