Apparently you're not the only one with bright ideas.
Folks might have called you a dreamer (or a lunatic) when you told them about your idea for a half down, half synthetic sleeping bag. Well, Millet must've either heard about your backcountry ravings or got a hold of your top-secret idea book because the Dreamer Composite 100 Long 34 Degree Synthetic Sleeping Bag is everything you've been dreaming and ranting about. The top of the bag is stuffed full of 700-fill down for high loft and excellent compression, and the bottom is insulated with a water-resistant synthetic fill, which provides added protection against the wet ground and tent mates that like to keep the lid off their makeshift outhouse-bottles. The 34-degree temperature rating makes this bag ideal for late spring, summer, and early fall trips, but it also has an insulated draft collar and tube to trap warm air when things get colder than you expected.
