To our knowledge, it's impossible to engineer climbing ropes out of pure liquid, but the feel of the Millet Absolute Pro Single Rope suggests otherwise. Thin, fluid, and smooth in use, the Absolute Pro earns its name while boasting a low impact force rating of just 7.8 kN. At a mere 54 grams per meter, you may forget this rope is in your pack during the approach.

Millet Absolute Pro- Lowest impact force

  • Gender:Male
  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

This rope is uber light and has a great hand to it that lasts over time. Plus, it has the lowest impact force out of any other 9mm alpine ropes. And since the core stands are hydrophobic treated before the rope is braided, you can be sure that it'll hold up after many big days in the snow and ice. I've actually used this rope sport climbing mostly, and is a great cord for sending burns when lightness matters. I can say that I've also taken MANY large whips on this thing, and it's still holding it's diameter very well, and is up for more days of punishment.
