    Your pump will become lonely.

Far more airtight than latex inner tubes, Butyl tubes won’t require you to reach for your pump before every ride. Michelin Aircomp Butyl Ultralight tubes weigh just 80 grams and offer confidence-inspiring durability on the open highway. These also come in three valve stem lengths—40mm, 52mm, or 60mm.

    Looking for better than these.

I like the smooth valve stems. That's about it. Had one split on the [very pronounced] seam right after installing it. Could be that 25C tires may be extending the size range a bit too far? These tubes do seem a bit sloppy though. Mavic tubes that came with a set of wheels are very clean and almost seamless. They also have nice black, smooth valves that look nice and are easy to inflate. C.C. does not carry the Mavic tubes in sizes that I need. Latex tubes are a pain, [Costly, Leaky, valve lengths, cannot patch them.] I have some Panaracer R-Air tubes on order and will give them a try when they come in. I would really like to find a good all-around tube. It seems that such a thing does not exist.

      Excellent Inner Tubes

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I run these Tubes on my ZIPP 303’s excellent Inner tubes. I’m very happy with my purchase Thank you Competitive Cyclist for advising me on purchasing these tubes

      good but pricey

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

really they have not felt any better than any other tube I have used. They work just fine and I have not had more or less punctures nor have they deflated any faster than a standard rubber q tube.

      I like em.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Consistent high quality. Non-threaded stem. Light weight. 75 gm actual for 40mm stems for the most recent ones I got. Compact in the saddle bag or jersey pocket. Not significantly more prone to flatting than heavier tubes IMO. I wish they still made them with 35mm stems. They usually have nickle plated stems but I have gotten some with plain brass (as in the current picture), which turns dark and mottled. Nickle is nicer.

Decent if you need a Long Stem

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The biggest advantage to these tubes is that they come in a 60mm stem length. This means if you have deep v wheels or aero spokes it should provide enough length to be able to put air into the tube! Decent tube but I have had better luck with Vittoria's tubes.

      Weighs more than they say...

Granted I have the 60mm valve length the weight comes in at 82g.

May seem insignificant bu when you are playing the weight game with bikes and you are getting to the point of paying 1$ per gram saved then it may be a little more susbstantial. Operationally I have had no issues.

        Highly Recommended

I love these tubes. What originally sold me on them was the non-threaded stem. I prefer the smooth exterior of this stem for my Silca floor pump. The air chuck will hang on to a threaded stem and sometimes pull the stem out of the tube.

These say they are for 18-23mm sizes / Will these work with a HED Ardennes Plus SL fitted with a 25mm tire (which swells to maybe 27-28)?

Has anyone used these with 25mm tires?

Has anyone used these with 25mm tires?

Are you going to stock these tubes again?...

Are you going to stock these tubes again? These are the only ones I'll buy, and I'd rather buy from you guys than some other outfit.
