Wish I had one...

One of tour buddies has this pack and I am constantly jealous. The pack is well designed, keeps his stuff well organized, and it fits him very well. He's a big guy, 6'2+ so I'm not sure it would fit me as well. If you are contemplating buying this pack, pull the trigger.

Is the suspension of this pack adjustable?
i.e. How well does this pack fit a 5'6" 125lb person?

Responded on

So there isn't a torso length adjustment on this pack, but it should fit you pretty well. The shoulder straps and hip belt are highly adjustable and should work pretty well for you. I am 5'9"155lb with a shorter torso and it fits pretty great for me. I typically get medium women's packs and small men's packs and it fits me great.

Love this pack!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I decided to get this pack since it is the only one I could find with both vertical and horizontal board carry in this size range. It is stable when bootpacking and has great side straps to hold your poles for the downhill. It is hydration compatible and held up great for me this season.

Any outside storage for water bottles? Also, from a girls pov, hows the number of pockets?

Responded on

So there are not any exterior pockets for water bottles, but it is hydration bladder compatible (even though it says it isn't in the tech specs). In my mind the pockets are definitely sufficient. There is a soft lined goggle pocket on the interior, an exterior top pocket that fits a headlamp and snacks, a decent sized waterproof zippered pocket on the interior of the back panel, and then the front section has stash spots for avy safety gear.

Does this pack have a hydration sleeve?

Does this pack have a hydration sleeve?

It has a mesh pocket on the inside of the main compartment, a bladder clip and a hydration tube port. So to answer your question, yes it does!
