    Good chalk

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Although chalk is just chalk and it won't make you climb 5.14 instead of 5.10 no matter which one you use, I find that this one has good grain size and drying characteristics. I've been using this brand for many years and it's still my favorite.

    Bye bye sweaty paws

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Wouldn't go climbing without it. I often get sweaty paws while climbing, so it's awfully convenient to have some help in the Non-Clammy-Palms department. And it's super affordable, so it's kind of a no-brainer! Good stuff right there - and it won't clump up in your bag (unlike other junk out there), which is another reason why I love this stuff.

    Gets the job done

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I get some pretty clammy hands climbing and this Metolius Super Chalk does the trick. It's affordable so you can seriously load it up before your route or project and be confident your sweaty hands won't fail you. Try it out!

    Necessary!

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I am going to be honest; I bought this because of the appealing price. It's cheap! If you're a climber you simply need chalk, constantly. So get a big bag! It is cheaper to buy in bulk and plus you can fill up your friends bags. I personally don'€™t like the feeling of chalk in general, it makes my hands dry and makes me cringe a little; but this chalk is pretty bearable, if I were to like chalk it would be this kind of chalk.

Chalk is chalk, so get chalky and go have some fun!

    Necessary!

    Chalk, The Other White Powder

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times

We're starting to get a bit more into climbing and figured it was time to up our game. Normally, we just rent a bag or bum some off people, but this time, we wanted to have our own supply. I am not sure what brand or kind the gym we go to uses, but this stuff definitely keeps our hands drier.

    Been using it for years...

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I've been using this same chalk for years now and it does its job. I gave it 4 of 5 stars because its chalk, ya know?

All you need it to be is chalk!

Chris Sharma, Matt Segal, Lisa Rands, and Beth Rodden use it, so why not me too?

Gets the job done and I love the large 15 ounce bag because even though I climb nearly everyday, it still lasts awhile and gets cheaper per unit the more you buy, as per usual.

    GOOD STUFF!

    does what it's supposed to

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I discovered this chalk long before I ever got into climbing. I first became familiar with it as a student athletic trainer working with a college gymnastics team. It's excellent for optimizing ones grip, a draw back it can serve as an irritant on dry or damaged hands. Tape cuts or other abrasions will be slow to heal with use of this product. That being said it's tried and true, I trust it to do its job and that's what matters.

    Keeps the Hands Dry

Some of the cheaper chalk around so I figured I would give it a try. Does a great job getting the hands dry, unfortunately almost too well as they tended to stay dry for days even after using Salve. I found this was best suited for the hottest days and since purchasing this I've switched to friction labs as it seems to keep my hands more in tact while still drying them out enough for added grip.

Makes Me Feel Like the Climber I am Not

      • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Sometimes people like to think chalk is chalk is chalk. But there are differences and I like a little bit of this stuff while climbing.

Some folks love to chalk the heck up but I prefer a just a tad of chalk while climbing and this is the stuff.

The packages are resealable while is great and I keep a pack in my trunk for those gym days.

Shoot me an email anytime you have questions about this chalk or any other gear!

      Plagued with sweaty hands?

My hands sweat a ton while I climb. So anything I can do to avoid yelling "take" simply due to my hands slipping from sweat is a win in my book. This chalk is so good I may use it on the next date I go on just to keep my sweaty hands dry....

        Super Chalk Indeed

        • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

This chalk might as well come with Superman's "S" on the front of the bag they send it to you in. Unlike many types of chalk, I don't immediately sweat through this, which for me is a first. What's more, it usually feels like I am reaching my hand it a cloud every time I reach into my chalk bag. Definitely my favorite kind of chalk to date! Worth every penny!
