arguably as good/better than yates

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I know, heresy, right? But really, with small modifications, these can be just as good as yates, maybe even better. As reed showed, a light spreader mod to these is nice (mine isn't quite as involved, as I prefer to keep the rubberized surface available), and I also like sewing a loop of double sided velcro tape onto the bottom of the very bottom rung, so that I can either shorten the ladder or simply turn the whole thing into a very tight package that hangs from my harness nice and clean. Def the only ladder for tall people who like to clip high pieces, as you can cover some serious ground with these, compared to yates.
