Because a strong hand is a healthy hand.

Metolius designed its Gripsaver Plus with help from a doctor in order to strengthen your hand, wrist, and forearm effectively and safely. An essential tool for serious climbers, this ball exercises your hand through a full, natural range in order to ensure you get a fully-balanced workout. It's very effective for rehabbing injured fingers or preventing any climbing-related injury that you could get from the tips of your fingers all the way to your elbow. Metolius includes detailed instructions for different workouts so you get what your hand needs to start grabbing imaginary holds like the ones the pros grab on every difficult route out there.

    Does what its supposed to

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times

Helps make the fingers feel a little better when youre cranking down on them all day. I find the most useful feature to be the bands that offer resistance when you expand your fingers. If youre climbing a ton i'm not convinced how useful it is to pinch a foam ball for a bit. Also while the extension resistance is nice, you could do almost the same thing with a rubber band, just saying.

    Good tool to have

I decided to purchase this grip saver to help with building forearm strength and recovery for climbing. Have only used it for a couple of weeks now, but have no complaints with it. It has held up very well throughout vigorous use. I would highly recommend this product

    Ummm this is pretty sweet!

    • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

This caught my eye a while ago, and I thought it might be a bit gimicky and weird...but I bought 2 anyways because both my brother and boyfriend are coming back from finger injuries. I gave them both the soft for Christmas, they love them! However, they both decided that I would return one soft and order a medium so that when their fingers are feeling better they can step it up to medium.

My boyfriend says he can feel a difference already after just a few exercises, his finger is getting the work out that it needs! As climbers we typically do the same motions, working the same muscles. The most useful part about the Gripsaver is the elastic finger band. I'm getting myself one of these too I really think it's something any climber can use!

Happy fingers make a happy climber

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I was skeptical of this, admittedly. But my fingers were cramping up like crazy and I needed some relief. To say the least it works. Make sure to start off in small increments otherwise you can do more damage than good. I just pop this thing in my purse and stretch occasionally during the day as to have happy fingers come climb time!
