The Metolius Equalizer Super Sling's 10-foot length and sewn end loops allow you to equalize multi-piece anchors at belays and sling giant horns on lead. This 22kN sling takes the place or a cordelette on multi-pitch rock and ice routes to reduce bulk. The Equalizer Super Sling even has an integrated storage pocket to help reduce the tangle factor on your harness.

I've always been fond of this product, only who's idea was it to sew the silly little "handbag" onto the thing. It's like it's got it's own special little purse now LOL.
Aside from the silly little handbag, it works great !
I cut the silly thing off.

The sewn loops look nice and convenient, but anyone see any real advantage of this over using overhands with decent tails in nylon webbing? There's a significant price difference between this and 12 feet of webbing.

The sewn loops on the ends allow to create a multiple point anchor while allowing the weight distribution to adjust. Beyond this webbing tends to be more versatile and cheaper.

I believe the only advantage is less bulk with sewn slings. It you don't mind the bulk of knots then just buy some webbing and save your money for some new carabiners or draws.

It is just a really long piece of webbing with sewn loops on either end so you can equalize multiple anchors with less mess then caring a spool of cordelette.

Often times, pieces in the anchor are spread out just enough to make tying off a master point impossible. It's gimmicky and not versatile enough to be worth carrying.

This is essentially just like using 20-30' of cordelette, depending on if you get the 10' or 15' length. It's a great design. I've been using the Mountain Tools 'web-o-lette' (same idea) and have found so many great uses for it.

I completely agree, it is nice if the situations perfect but honestly how often does that happen, better off carrying 20-30' of cordelette.

Used this a couple time so far and it's really convenient. The pouch design is pretty slick, I just clip it to my harness and it's good to go.
