Embodying the spirit of its Moab namesake, the Merrell Men's Moab Peak Mid Ventilator Backpacking Boot is strategically designed for conquering craggy summits with superior ventilation and sure-footed grip. This backpacking boot is crafted with a nubuck leather upper for great feel, stylish looks, and trail-tested durability. Mesh is placed within strategic areas, allowing this boot to ventilate well when subjected to sweltering temperatures and hours of trail use. Keeping heinous foot odor at bay, a M-Select Fresh coating combats funky foot stank associated with thru-hiking and strenuous excursions. A bellows tongue is stitched to the side of the boot to keep debris and light moisture out.

Considered a gold standard for walking over rugged landscapes, the Vibram outsole features 5mm lugs that ensure plenty of grip for scaling rocky terrain. A TPU shank acts as a support system upon which the compression-molded EVA midsole sits, giving a stable walking foundation with plenty of cushioning. Merrell has loaded a signature air cushion within the heel of this boot to disperse shock and absorb terrain feedback when you're facing harsh landings and uneven surfaces. These boots are purposely built for rough-and-tumble outings into wilderness areas and seemingly untouched destinations.
