Merrell Luxe Jacket - Women's - 2007 BCS

I live in Germany- and we don't get this jacket here so I had to order it from you (and pay additional taxes for having it imported!!). Here where I live (Upper Bavaria), we are pretty particular about the jackets we wear as we like being outside even during cold-wet weathers. This Merrell Luxe Jacket was well worth the effort and money just so I can have it. It is water-resistant, wind-resistant and the insulation is like my Primaloft Jacket from North Face Summit Series but with the added comfort of it reaching to my thighs. The cut is trendy (so girls who don't wanna look too sporty will love this) with a hint of A-line -- and the "buttons" are like the ones you would find on Caban Jackets. The zipper wasn't easy to zip up and down at first, but I am getting the hang of it now. I can wear this with jeans (casual) and slacks-blouse-combi (a little bit more elegant). I can wear this while going on walks during our cold days, as well as going to the theater. The design and colour allows that versatility. The combination of dry-insulation (Shell + Primaloft) AND trendy style makes it a jacket for all occasion.

I got this jacket for my 80 something year old gramma and she loved it so did my 20 year old sister. So you could say it's a jacket for everyone.
It is plenty warm, a much darker brown than appears in the picture.
And the zipper is tricky.

Great waterproofing, pockets, and the four elastic closures in the front are super handy when you don't feel like zipping up all the way. it would be nice if there were a cord to keep the hoodie on tighter but overall I am very happy with this jacket!
