Merrell usually runs wide. Best advice, order them and if it doesn't work out, ship them back for your refund.

This is not a GTX boot so the lining is not breathable. The outside can be water resistance proofed better by applying Snow Seal or better yet, Nikwax Nubuck & Suede Treatment:http://www.backcountry.com/store/NIK0028/Nikwax-Nubuck-and-Suede-Treatment.html
