Merrell Isotherm Zip Waterproof Boot - Men's - 2010 BCS

My husband is a Fedex driver in Montana and he is in and out of puddles, snow drifts and otherwise nasty weather for months on end. These are the only boots that have proved both 100% dry, warm and cozy but also comfortable all day in the winter/wet weather.
No kidding, he just got his last Dec. and wore them through April - they are still good but he's asked me to find him another pair as a backup since they are so awesome. He hates to spend more then $50 usually, but has no problem paying whatever for these particular shoes. Can't wait till you restock them.

The most comfortable boots I've ever had. And they look cool! Warm down to 15° and likely colder temps, though I've not yet had them in colder conditions. Wide tread is sturdy, grips well, good on ice. The boots are too low for deep snow, especially compared to my ancient LLBean 10", felt-lined (nowadays GoreTex/Thinsulate) boots (currently $164.) Zipper fastening is efficient, but definitely needs a larger, looped toggle (or I need much stronger fingers) for easier pulling closed. And needs a longer tongue, up over the top of the boot, for better padding: when zipped tight, the top pushes uncomfortably onto/into my lower leg, so I generally only zip them up about two-thirds. A good boot that could be better.
