Description

Wraparound support and supreme comfort.

With the Merrell Men's Geomorph Maze Stretch Hiking Shoe on your foot, you can explore the network of slot canyons in comfort. This low-cut hiker's stretchy one-piece construction offers supreme slip-on ease and a supportive feel you just don't get in a conventionally built shoe; the elastic bungee lacing further enhances the wraparound fit. To ensure that your foot gets the protection and support that it needs on the trail, Merrell added suede overlays on the sides and in the toe area to complement the ample amount of breathable mesh. And the M-Select Fresh antimicrobial technology in the lining and removable footbed ensures that this shoe doesn't offend anyone's olfactory sensibilities.

When you have to jump from a ledge to the canyon floor, Merrell's Air Cushion technology takes the sting out the landing. And while the outsole features sticky Vibram rubber, the lug pattern is not overly aggressive, making the Geomorph Maze shoe an excellent choice for a wide variety of terrain.

if only they were gore tex

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

these shoes are near perfect except the fact that they are not gore tex. but the price is significintly lower seeing as how theyre not. they will resist a good amount of water on the top and in the snow they work great. the whole top is neoprene and of course the laces which are stretchy cord stuff. if you dont know how to tie your shoes like me, then these shoes are good for you. on the bottom of the fabric where it connects to the sole, theres a bunch of vents so your feet can breathe. snow and a good amount of water wont get in on the top and part of the sides but where the vents are water goes right through. it will still resist the snow in those spots though. vibram geomorph tc5+sticky rubber sole is great. just as grippy as the vibram sole on chaco's which i am very happy about. theyre suprisingly light as well. great shoe. worth the price.
