The Merrell Kids’ Chameleon Thermo Moc Waterproof Shoe includes Thinsulate insulation that keeps your little one’s feet nice and warm when sandal weather goes away. Merrell also added a waterproof leather upper to hold out moisture as your kid walks to school through last-night’s snowfall. Thermo Cupsoles provide excellent traction on slick surfaces, and they won’t even mark up the kitchen floor.
Bottom Line: Warm enough for winter and won’t mark the tile.

Just got these shoes today, and they look as seriously durable as the adult size. My daughter ( 3 years old and has large feet for her age) fit these well, with room for a thick sock and room to grow. The pink is wonderfully girly, yet looks tough enough that my daughter won't be able to shred these into pieces like other shoes. The size seems true to fit, and although they will be easy for her to get one by herself I don't believe they will be flipping off her feet at all. A great shoe.

These shoes are waterproof, really warm, slip resistant on ice, great in snow and really easy to slip on and off quickly. Also, I originally ordered the wrong size and the customer service at backcountry was so helpful. They were exceptional. Would definitely order from them again.
