From casual day hikes to grueling climbing approaches, the Merrell Men’s Chameleon Evo Mid Boot helps you adapt to any outdoor pursuit. The nubuck leather and breathable Air Mesh construction simultaneously protect and ventilate your foot, while an antimicrobial lining fights odors on sweaty summer days. Injection-molded TPU inserts and a nylon shank provide stable support on rough trails, and a cushioned insole absorbs excess shock. The high ankle wards off rolls and sprains, and the grippy Vibram sole sticks to the slickest of terrain.

Not durable!

Very comfortable, if you have long narrow feet. However, mine are coming apart after only 2 years of moderate use. The rand is coming unglued, the sole is coming unglued from the upper, and most importantly, a lacing hook as broke! I will not be buying another pair of Merrells in my life time.

He is taking advantage of every camping expedetion.
