Wash your rain jackets, skiwear, hats, and gloves with McNett's ReviveX Wash-In Water Repellant. ReviveX creates a new DWR coating on your older waterproof, breathable garments. With this water based formula, it's easy to bring wet weather protection back to your outdoor apparel. For garments with wicking inner liners, use the spray-on version of McNett's ReviveX.

Bottom Line: Bring wet weather protection back to your favorite jacket with McNett's ReviveX Wash-In Water Repellent.

I have an old Marmont Mountain Works Gortex jacket (shell) and pants that are no longer waterproof. (The fabric appears to be cotton, not nylon.) I'm trying to decide which McNett product would be more effective: Wash-in Water Repellent or Spray for Outerwear. Which do you suggest?

I can guarantee you that Gore-tex has never made a cotton shell. I'd suggest wash-in, it tends to last a lot longer since it gets to soak all the way in.

The best way to be sure is to go to the goreTex website and read up on care of your specific type of product. Are you getting wet? Or do you stay dry but your jacket just seem saturated?GoreTex says "We do not recommend wash-in treatments as they can affect the garment's breathability." [www.gore-tex.com]Then, I would go with the spray!
