Detonator Tire

During training, you want your bike to feel as close as possible to how it will feel on race day. The Maxxis Detonator tire combines a soft, silica compound on its edges, a harder center compound, and a supple casing for a tire that’s durable enough for training with the feel of a race-day tire. The Detonator also has added puncture-resistance, thanks to Maxxis’ Silkworm, an extra layer of puncture-resistant material added to the casing.
