Tri Helium Shoes

The Mavic Tri Helium Shoes are the obvious choice for a top-level triathlon shoe with all the bells and whistles. Luckily, Mavic doesn’t sacrifice comfort for performance and features easy entry and exit with direct and efficient power transfer.

Mavic’s Energy SLR carbon fiber outsoles minimize weight and ensure little energy loss from foot to pedal. The outsoles are combined with an Energy Frame Carbon SL Concept inlay that supports your foot over the longitude of the shoes’ arch areas. This carbon frame provides greater lateral support, medial support, and better foothold than traditional leather or microfiber uppers. To top it off, Mavic used its carbon fiber 3D heel counter to eliminate heel slippage.

Now, for the comfort; the majority of the Tri Helium's uppers are made of a highly breathable mesh. This means moisture is quickly evaporated after T1 and during your ride. The cushy Ergo Fit SL insoles feature three-layer construction that dampens ride vibration, evaporates moisture, provides antimicrobial protection, and maximizes breathability for your ride.

Mavic knows entry and exit are vital in a tri shoe and uses its Ergo SL carbon strap with a trimmable “burrito-wrap” upper. That means the Heliums have an opening that runs nearly the whole length of the upper shoes and that you can dial in the fit of the shoe to your desire. The two-strap closure system makes transitions a breeze, and to speed up T1, Mavic has included a durable pull-tab at the heel.
