You can wear them under your Mavic baggies, your baggies from some other company, your regular walkshorts, your boarshorts, your jorts, your jeans, your tuxedo pants, or even alone if you want to scare people and enjoy jail time. The Stratos under short is made with an open mesh, which is why they keep you cool in hot weather. It’s also why we recommend wearing something on top of them.

The shorts are actually knit in one piece, with varying densities strategically located throughout. It’s thinner where ventilation is the main concern and more dense in areas where support is of value. The waist is a just a one-inch piece of elastic, and the leg cuffs are just the shorts’ material, doubled over.

At the hear of it all is the Ergo 3D chamois—a variable density, variable thickness insert with a channel down the middle to accommodate sensitive body parts. It’s covered with an anti-microbial fabric to deal with odors, and it stretches to perfectly conform to your body.

  • Variable density open mesh construction
  • Ergo 3D chamois
  • Anti-microbial liner

Here's what others have to say...

Father likes them

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

Gifted these to my father, needless to say i got a picture back that was a little less flattering than i needed to see, but he is right, they breathe like no other chamois. weary eyes be warned if you plan on rocking them without shorts over top!!!

Father likes them

Neat idea

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The idea of having inner shorts which have holes in them for breathability makes perfect sense. How did this not become the norm? Heed the warnings of not wearing them on their own though ;-)
