Like most mountain bikers, you probably prefer a looser, more casual-fitting jersey than your dirt-averse brethren. If so, the Mavic Notch Long-Sleeve Jersey is right up your alley. This casual-styled jersey has a loose fit that's so comfortable you'll forget you're even wearing a jersey. Of course, flatlock stitching and a V-neck don't hurt in the comfort department, either.

The Notch is made with polyester Air Wick fabric that breathes and pulls moisture away from your skin. The 1/3-length-zip design allows you to dump heat in a hurry when you start burning up on a climb. Long sleeves add a bit of protection from the sun and from flying trail debris. The Notch also comes with a zippered chest pocket for your keys, your phone, or your MP3 player.

The Mavic Notch Long-Sleeve Jersey comes in sizes X-Small to XX-Large. It's available in Bright Red, Athletic Green, or Process Blue.

Here's what others have to say...

Runs large

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:Runs large

I have a slender build and this jersey is a little baggy and long for my liking. If you're slender like me I would recommend ordering a size smaller than usual.

Besides fit it does what you would expect. The simple design looks great and is very comfortable.

Mavic Notch LS Jersey

Size medium. Great fit. Good Sun/ chill/ crash protection yet breaths excellent.

Does this jersey offer UPF protection?...

Does this jersey offer UPF protection? It's mentioned in the details for the Notch Graphic L/S jersey but unsure about this one. I also wonder which one is lighter?

    Hey Henry,

This jersey does have the "Hot Ride" technology but no "Hot Ride UV"as per the manufactures description. UPF protection is also not identified.

Hey Henry, thanks for the question!

To follow up on Retail Therapy's excellent answer, I double checked Mavic's website. He is right, this jersey only features Hot Ride tech, which does not include UPF protection. UPF protection is only included on Mavic products that have "Hot Ride UV" fabric.
