Riding in the rain is generally understood to be synonymous with being wet, cold, and bummed out, but the Mavic Crossmax H20 Jacket is aiming to make your soggy sojourns a little more enjoyable. It's not the spendiest rain jacket out there, but Mavic built the Crossmax with the focus on what matters—fabric and fit—not on bells and whistles that add dollars without making much sense.

coconut fibers, so you'll be protected from the elements without stewing in your own sweat, and finished it with fully taped seams to prevent soggy sneak attacks during extended exposure. The contoured fit is loose enough to provide full shoulder movement but not so baggy that it'll act like a sail, and the dropped elastic hem and elastic cuffs seal out wheel spray and puddle splash. Mavic also included a zippered chest pocket for essentials, and finished the Crossmax with its Pak Back design, which uses two zippers to expand the back panel, making room for a small hydration pack under the jacket.
