The Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL Tubular Rear Wheel uses a low-profile design for supreme aerodynamics and straight-pull spokes for increased lateral stiffness. A low 970g weight may trick you into thinking that fragility is an issue, but nothing could be further from the truth. This Mavic wheel’s low weight decreases cyntrifical force for better sprinting, breaking, and cornering. Basically, it’s the aero wheel that you want on race day.

Bottom Line: Aerodynamic and stiff? Yeah they can go together.

Mavic doesn't publish a weight limit, I know a couple of riders that are over 200lbs that haven't had any issues to speak of.They ship with the following:Bearing adjustment tool (rear wheel),BR301 quick releases,Rim tape,Spoke wrench (rear wheel),Spoke wrench for aerodynamic spokes (rear wheel),User guide and warranty card,Valve extender
